He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Basye Parks; his children, Michael "Mike" Parks of Jackson and Michelle Parks Minton (Rich) of Westminster, Maryland; and his granddaughter Dr. MaKayla Minton of Fredrick, Maryland.. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
