She was predeceased by: her parent Lula Mathis-Brown; and her siblings, Emma Lee Wash-White, Billy Faye Wash and Norris Washington. She is survived by: her husband Aaron Washington; her son Rodney Washington; her grandchildren, Tiakka Wash and Tameiah Wash; her great grandchild Taigan Reign Wash; and her sibling's children, Kenisha Butts, Cristopher Wash, Ian Wash, Reginald Wash and Gary White.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jackson Memorial Funeral Service (1000 W Woodrow Wilson Ave, Jackson, MS 39213). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
