It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Burleigh Aden of Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Aubrey Anslem Aden and Anne Pocahontas Goodman Aden; and his brother Gordon Goodman Aden. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Donnell Aden; his daughters, Anne Russell Aden Bradley (Scott) of Columbus, MS, Leigh Aden Box (Mike) of Jackson, MS, Katherine Aden Rhodes (Patrick) of New Braunfels, TX and Barrie Aden Mahaffey (Eddie) of Brandon, MS; his grandchildren, Aden Marie Burchak, Coleman Joseph Mahaffey, Andrew Lamar Mahaffey and Nicholas Gordon Mahaffey; his brother Dr. William Mangum Aden, II (Joy) of Ridgeland, MS; and his sister-in-law Betty Allen Aden of Greenwood, MS. He is also survived by one nephew, five nieces, and their children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Northminster Baptist Church.
