She was predeceased by: her former husband James Carter; and her daughters, Terry Faith Baxter and Kelly Hope Carter. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Brown; her granddaughter JC Baxter; her siblings-in-law, Paulette Penton (Corbett Lee), Dewey Laron Brown (Shirley), Steven B. Brown (Margie) and Michael D. Brown (Sandra); her adoptive father Jonathan Decker; and also, Lydia Decker, Matilda and Grant Decker.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home (759 US-51, Madison, MS 39110). A graveside service was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jessamine Cemetery (170 Trace Ridge Dr, Ridgeland, MS 39157).
