It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward James Jr. in Jackson, Mississippi, born in Natchez, Mississippi, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward James, Sr. and Dorothy Felter James; his sister Libby James (Felicia) of Petal; his grandmothers, Estelle McMillan and Elizabeth Felter; his nephew Chris James; his in-laws, Charles Lee and Leona Williams; his brother-in-law Lee Williams; and his son-in-law Matt McGivaren.
He is survived by: his wife Liz; his children, Charles Edward James III (Audra Ater) and Jennifer McGivaren-Bryant (Hilton) of Vidalia; his grandchildren, Kelsey James (John McNeil), Landry McGivaren (Karlee), Kamryn James, Andrew McGivaren, Cole McGivaren Julianne (Skylar Bolyer), Will Bryant, Garrett Vinson, Brooke Magee and Glaston Magee; and his children, Kallie Kate McNeil, Collins and Mattie McGivaren.
