He is survived by: his wife Thelma Spence; his children, Roger Spence (Marie), Cheney Spence (Diana) and Karen Hudson; his siblings, Carrie Ruth Thornton, Sandra Mulkey (Bill), Betty Willis (Buddy), Polly Smith (Paul), Ann Tibbett, Roxie Blanco (Carlos), Sidney Spence (Mary), Billy Spence and Marion Spence (Susan); his grandchildren, Angela Diggs (Kevin), Carl Spence (Christine), Johnanna Bogdanny (Scott), Lacie Sistrunk (Brandon), Charles Hudson, Shelby Hudson, Sophie Hudson and Trace Mathis; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Diggs, Lucy Diggs, Porter Spence, Colt Spence, Sawyer Sistrunk, Brody Sistrunk, Marissa Bogdanny, Haley Bogdanny, Jamie Bogdanny and Travis Bogdanny.
