She was predeceased by: her father Charles; her sister Tiffany Ann Mitchell; her grandparents, Donna Myatt, Arthur and Lula Mae Mitchell; her great-grandparent Madonna Ashcraft; and her cousins, Ramona and Scott Mitchell.
She is survived by: her sons, Ethan Gafford (Miranda) and Eric Gafford (Cherish); her sisters, Jinny Minor (Wade) and Anita Manning (Scott); her grandchildren, Stetson Duke Gafford, Josie Jane Gafford, Stormi Lynn, Mylan and Jonah Dean Gafford; her aunts and uncles, Earnest Mitchell (Willistene) and Ellis Mitchell (Annette); her nieces and nephews, Caitlyn James (Austin), Jonathan Cheney (Bethanne) and Anthony Minor (Alana); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Easton, Zaylee Kate, John Avery, Tynlee James, John Brantley, Gunnar, Boone Cheney, Ivy-May, Andrew and Knox Minor. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home (1604 MS-25 North, Amory, MS 38821). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations may be given to St. Judes Children's Hospital in Courtney's memory.
