He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Earl Gerber and Helen Barnt Gerber; and his brother Gerald Allen Gerber. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Susan Gerber Shirley (Kevin) of Vilas, Donald Earl Gerber (Jenna) of Cumming, Georgia and Janet Helen Gerber of Memphis, Tennessee; his brother Donald Barnt Gerber (Helen) of Panora, Iowa; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Kevin Shirley (Kristin), Stephen Lynn Shirley (Kristen), Emily Jane Gerber, Joseph Dean Shirley, Mary Brooks Gerber and Andrew Dean Gerber; and his great grandchild Lila Marie Shirley. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Briarwood Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.
