She was predeceased by: her father Charles J. Davis, Jr.; her sister Diane Davis Gillanders; and her daughter Courtney Leanne Rushing. She is survived by: her mother Bettye Robinson Davis; her husband Jim Carrington; her brothers, C. J. "Dave" Davis III and Eugene "Gene" R. Davis; and her children, James Cecil Carrington, Jr. (Connie) and Casey Carrington Holcomb (Karl). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five nieces and nephews, and one great-nephew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip's Episcopal Church (5400 Old Canton Rd, Jackson, MS 39211). A requiem service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
