We are sad to announce that, on August 1, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Eugene F. Smith of Jackson, Mississippi, born in New Garden, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Smith and Nettie Smith. He is survived by: his friend Smitty; his wife Barbara; his children, Donna Garrison (Ronald), Ronald Smith (Dorena), Doug Smith (Julie) and Deb Ciapanna; his grandchildren, Kristin Robinson (Emily), Michael Robinson (Courtney), Katherine Grabau (Jonathan), Joseph Ciapanna Jr., Laura Wood (Frank) and Thomas Smith; his great grandchildren, Harper Anne Smith Speranza, Lulu Joan Robinson, James Daniel Grabau and Haley Jane Wood; his sister Violet Woodall; and his grandsons, Andrew James Smith and David Gipson Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in memory of Eugene F. Smith to the Ohio Christian University, 1476 Lancaster Pike, Circleville, OH 43113 or to the Sharptown United Methodist Church by mailing to 24 Church Street, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098.
