Wells, Sr.; her children, Linda Jones (James), Sylvia Dixon, Kathleen Wells (Michael Schmid) and Phillip Wells (Rita); her grandchildren, Richard Wells, Katrina Jones, Wanda Jones, Jana Jimerson (Marcus), Whitney Dixon, Chernell Paige, Jonathan Waddell (Beth), Matthew Wells and Rachel Wells; her siblings, Peggy Abernathy, Ruth Stevens, Florence Anthony, Curtis Martin, Henry Martin and Ronald Martin; her granddaughter Tina Marie Dixon; and her siblings, Ruben, Warren, John, Arnold and Louise. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
