He is survived by: his significant other Jearlean Franklin of Jackson, MS; his children, Deontay Franklin of Jackson, MS, Pearl Franklin of Jackson, MS and Shantay Franklin of Jackson, MS; his siblings, Curtis Hinkle (Susie) of Bentonia, MS, Perry Hinkle (Joyce) of Memphis, TN, Freddie Hinkle (Shelia) of Jackson, MS, Susie Catchings of Chicago, IL and Brenda Weatherspoon of Jackson, MS; his daughter Angie Horton; his niece Michelle Brumfield; and his granddaughter Ashlely Hinkle. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 415 N Gallatin St, Jackson, MS 39203.
