She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Taylor and Clifford Taylor (George McWilliams); her sons, Scott and James Nelson; her daughter-in-law Jodie Nelson; her great grandchild Nora Vaughn; and her siblings, Richard Taylor, Robert Taylor, Larry Taylor, Linda Witherington and Alice Faye O'Connor.

She is survived by: her son Reed Nelson; her grandchildren, Jenni Vaughn of Jake Nelson, J. T, Philips and Maddie Philips; her great grandchildren, Jane Kratochvil and Graham Vaughn; and her siblings, Gene Taylor, Jimmy Taylor, Wanda Entriken and Jeannette Puckett.

The family asks, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
