She was predeceased by: her father John Bertaut; her husband Gerald Cottingham Sr.; and her sister Betty Daugherty. She is survived by: her sons, Gerald Jr. and Vince Cottingham of Vicksburg; and her brother Tom Bertaut (Joan) of Jackson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
