He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ray Gressley and Margaret Gressley; his sister Patricia; his stepbrother Harry Ward (Rob); and his brother-in-law Thad O'Neal.
He is survived by: his friends, Steve Wooten, Miles Corley, John and Arlinda Brinkmann; his significant other Judy O'Neal; his close friend Attorney Sam Brand; his nephews, Stacy O'Neal (Gigi) of Jackson, MS and Jeremy O'Neal (Ashley) of Madison, MS; his sister-in-law Cathy O'Neal of Madison, MS; his extended family Erin Hope Brinkmann Courtney (Matt) of Clinton, MS; and his stepsiblings, Darlene Yingling and Charlie Ward (Christie).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Home (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Wells Church-United Methodist, WellsFest, 2019 Bailey Avenue, Jackson MS 39213.
