He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Chestang Stewart and Cornelius C. Stewart Sr.; his sister Geraldine Stewart Johnson (Brenda M. Stewart); his daughter Rolanda P. Stewart; and his brothers-in-law, Benjamin Johnson and Sim Black.
He is survived by: his granddaughter LaToya Stewart of Pascagoula, MS.; his great grandchildren, Robby Harmon Jr. (RJ) of Pascagoula, MS. and Roland Harmon of Pascagoula, MS.; his siblings, Ernestine Black of Vancleave, MS., Cornelius Stewart Jr. (Burnette) of Patterson, Diana Smith (Alexander) of Mobile, AL., Melvin Stewart Sr. (Dorothy) of Patterson, LA., Roy Stewart (Mary) of Helena, MS., Aaron Stewart of Pascagoula, MS and Denise Moore (Fred) of Pascagoula, MS; and his friends, Edith Washington, Leon Fantroy, Gina Thomason and Samuel Bell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
