It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce White Williford of Jackson, Mississippi, born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, B. D. White and Grace McNeill White; and her husband H. Shannon. She is survived by: her brother Williford, Jr.; her children, Shannon Williford (Anne) of Pass Christian, MS, Walter Williford (Diane) of Hattiesburg, MS, Kevin Williford (Susan) of Brandon, MS and Elisabeth Williford Ross (Greg) of Jackson; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth "Brucie" Williford of Madison, MS; her grandchildren, William McNeill Williford, Linden Williford, George Williford, Wren Ross, Emma Ross Hill (Daniel), Julia Bee Williford, Sam Ross, Gillian Williford, Jennings Williford and Hughey Williford; her great grandchildren, Everly, William and Pratchett Hill; her brother Ed; and her sister-in-law Sallie Williford of Brookhaven.
