She was predeceased by: her parents, Lydia Lewis (Tyner) and James Lewis; and her siblings, Velma Lewis Weathersby, Kathleen Lewis Hodges, Eddie Charles, James Ellis and Melvin Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Lydia Janese and Lystrelle Daneen; her husband Alvin Lewis; her brother Freeman Lewis; her children, Alvin Vaughn Lewis (Leona) of Toledo, OH, Janese Lewis Savinon (Confesor) of Jackson, MS and Daneen Lewis of Anderson, IN.; and her grandchildren, Briton Lewis, Marquis Shannon (Allison) and Marisol Savinon Jimenzand. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
