It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Houchins of Jackson, Mississippi, born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, who passed away on October 26, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lem Houchins and Louise Houchins; and his son Peyton Houchins. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Houchins; his son Palmer Houchins; his daughter-in-law Cathryn; his grandsons, Ren and Giles Houchins of Atlanta; his sister Nancy Williams (Robert) of Leawood, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Penny Long (Randy) of Corinth and Pat Palmer (Nancy) of Corinth. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and a wide circle of dear friends.
