He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Luella Lambert Thompson; his father Leonard Thompson, Sr.; his sister Curley Phillips; his wife Grace Magee Thompson; his children, Reginald Thompson (Lashay) of Bowie, Vanessa Russell (Jacoby) of Sterling and Joseph Thompson; his stepson Quentin Tard of Jackson; his granddaughter Rhyan Thompson of Bowie, Maryland; his mother Luella Thompson; his siblings, Ruby Smith (Lonnie) of Jackson, MS, Lee Andrew Thompson of San Antonio and Robert Earl (Beverly) of Cleveland Height; and his goddaughters, Jazmine Black of Jackson, MS and Lyndsey Smith of Terry, MS.. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
