He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Sistrunk and Lucinda Sistrunk; his wife Merle Bradford Sistrunk; and his siblings, Waudine Gilmer, Bonnie Arinder and Gwin Sistrunk.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Sistrunk of Jackson, Gary Sistrunk (Robin) of Ridgeland and Mike Sistrunk (Robin) of Pelahatchie; his grandchildren, Rachel Varner (Joey) of Brandon, Russell Sistrunk (Megan) of Brandon, Clancey Bridges (Preston) of Brandon and Hayden Sistrunk (Kathleen) of Brandon; his great grandchildren, Sophie Mack, Ty, Easton Sistrunk, Hailey Jo, Haven Varner and Sabie Grace Sistrunk; and his sister Mary Whitt of Sebastopol.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Home (1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, MS 39157). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
