She was predeceased by: her parents, Jones "Woody" Degraffenreid Woodward and Frances Woodward Suddath; and her brother Jones Degraffenreid Woodward, Jr. (Jody). She is survived by: her husband William M. Penn, Jr. of Jackson; her daughter Emily Hoff (Kern); her granddaughter Katherine; her son Joshua Penn; and her sister Susan Potts (John) of Peachtree City, Georgia..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (1390 N State St, Jackson, MS 39202). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
