We bid farewell to Margaree Barnes of Jackson, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Margaree touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Margaree may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaree touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlie Caston, Sr. and FAnnie Bell Caston.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Westhaven Funeral Home (3580 Robinson St, Jackson, MS 39209). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blacks Chapel M. B. Church (3425 Robinson Rd, Jackson, MS 39209). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Autumn Woods Memorial Gardens (4000 W Northside Dr, Jackson, MS 39209).
