She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen Lavecchia and Nick Lavecchia. She is survived by: her husband Walter Gex; her son Joe; her son-in-law Bryan; her great grandchildren, Walter Gex VI, Louise Gex (Weesie), McCoy Farmer, Boden Farmer, Pierce O'Shaughnessey, Ellison Walhood and Della Peyton Walhood; her children, Rachel Gex Farmer (Bryan) and Walter J. Gex IV (Dee); her grandchildren, Joseph Gex V, Kyle Farmer (Courtney), Taylor Gex Walhood (Jon) and Nicole O'Shaughnessey (Becker); Wanda, Leija Ray and Valerie McGrone.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Richard Catholic Church (1242 Lynwood Dr, Jackson, MS 39206). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
