She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ossie Beard and Warren Columbus Beard; and her former husbands, James Lee Perkins and James Charles Barr. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gober and Sue Pierce; her son-in-law Larry Pierce; her sister Betty Moore; her grandchildren, James Gober, Lee Gober, Christine Gober, Chris Papizan, Claire Papizan and Jonathan Papizan; her great grandchildren, Kade Martin, Jackson Papizan and Palmer Papizan; her siblings, J. C. Murphy, Willet Beard, Billy Raye Beard and Sadie Crane; and her son Jimmie Perkins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Homes- Brandon (1360 W Government St, Brandon, MS 39042). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
