He is survived by: his wife Donna Smith; his children, Joseph Daniel Smith (Lalena) of Byram and Tiffany Nicole Rodgers (Allan) of Jackson; and his brothers, Doug Smith (Kathy) of Madison, Dennis Smith of Byram and Jimmy Smith (Jonnie). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
