He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Michael Lee Mathers Jr.; his parents, Elmer Mathers and Margie A. Teele; his stepfather Glenn V Teele Sr.; his siblings, Thomas Mathers (Patricia) of Woolmarkert, MS, Alan L. Mathers (Brenda) of Biloxi, MS and Kimberley J. Mathers (Anisa Jones) of Austin, TX; his stepsiblings, Kimberley R. Gore (Lee) of McHenry, MS, Glenn V. Teele Jr. (Genera) of Brandon, MS, Scott E. Teele (Christina) of Ferguson, NC and Genie A. Warren (Charley) of Lipscomb, AL; his daughter-in-law Madeline J. Johnson; and his granddaughter Jailynn Norris. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
