He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Claudis Cooley and Grace Landrum Cooley; and his siblings, H. T. Cooley, Aldean Cooley, John Cooley, S. V. Cooley, W. C. Cooley, Virginia Mills, Myrtle Cunningham, Jewel Cooley Hucklebee and Margaret Cooley.
He is survived by: his sisters, Christine Williams and Glenda C. Brewer (Stanley). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
