With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nerrell L. Ridley of Jackson, Mississippi, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on August 1, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Terrell Long and Nell Long; her daughter Harriet Hart Ridley; and her husband James Russell Ridley. She is survived by: her stepfather Eugene Hart; her children, James Russell Ridley, Jr. (Rusty), Robyn Cynthia Ridley and Jean Runelle Ridley Hines (Scott); and her grandchildren, Logan Timothy Ridley (Stephanie), Cambridge Ridley Lynch (Mike), Lindsay Hines Dehmer (Dodds), Breck Ridley Hines (Lyn), Eric Ridley Johnson, Robert James Johnson and Carrie Ridley Johnson (Brad). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
