She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Dee Newsom and George Felix Gelston; and her husband John Hart Lewis, Sr.. She is survived by: her son John Hart Lewis, Jr. (Jan); her friend Gloria Jean Smith; her stepson Larry Lewis (Janis); and her stepgrandson Ken Lewis.
Those wishing to honor Reba's memory may make a memorial contribution to Unity Baptist Church in West, Mississippi; Beth Israel Congregation in Jackson, Mississippi; or the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University.
