It is with great sadness that we announce the death of River Lee Lambert in Jackson, Mississippi, born in Louise, Mississippi, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lee Lambert and Beatrice Roper Lambert; and her siblings, Eddie D. Roper, Ruth Lambert, Lillie Mae Penn, Charlie Lambert and Richard Lambert.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Lambert; her significant other Prentice Spann; her children, Carrie Vaughs of Jackson, MS, James Lambert (Sherrie) of Fayteville, NC, John Lambert (Judy), Milissa Brewer (James), Princess Johnson (Joseph), Stacy Brocks (Ronnie) and Tracy Lambert of Jackson, MS; her siblings, Wilma Adams, Dorothy Brown, Silvester Lambert of Jackson, MS, Minnie Alexander of Jackson, MS, Brenda Matthews of Dallas, TX and Godbrother Harvey Watkins, Jr.; and her close friends, Eddie Mae Hicks, Michael Williams, Ruth Jackson and Nora Jamison. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
