Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia Hughson of Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 77, on November 2, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Charles Segrest, Sr. and Pauline Hyer Segrest; her brother John Segrest, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Tom Wiemann. She is survived by: her sister Connie Segrest Wiemann; her sister-in-law Bitsy Segrest; and her sibling's children, Chuck Wiemann, Leigh Ann Wiemann and Jenny Davis. She is also survived by cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a great-great nephew.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Shelton Cemetery.
