He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Vivian and Molly Bilbo Jones; his wife Bobbie Laberta Jones; and his siblings, Claudius Jones, O. S., Bud, Iva Lou Toler, Vivian Ray Sartin and Camilla Simmons.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanie Wilcher (Gary) of Madison, Teresa Coward (Bruce) of Atlanta, GA and Priscilla Burris (Tom) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Keeley Wadsworth (Drew), Chris Burris (Christin) and Bradley Wilcher (Victoria); his great grandchildren, Ava Drew Wadsworth, Ann Wells Wadsworth, Annsley Kate Burris, Addy Grace Burris and Aly Beth Burris; and his siblings, Thadius M. Jones, Florence Ann Maddox and Claudia Key (Robert). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Madison, MS or Baptist Children's Village, Ridgeland, MS.
