He is survived by: his wife Gail Marlene Bankston; his children, Ted Bankston, Penny Bankston and Sheri Lynne Bankston; his granddaughter Courtney Marie Smith of Richmond, Virginia; his sister Mae Pait of Lucedale, Mississippi; and his great grandchild Caiden (Jeremiah).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Home (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
