He is survived by: his wife Mattie Lee Thompson Manyfield; his children, Lawrence Manyfield, Rosie Taylor, Brenda Williams (Melvin), Elaine Clark (Floyd), Darlean Porter (Lanford) and Debra Johnson (J. C.); and his sisters, Beatrice Peace and Ophelia Hester. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
