She was predeceased by: her husband Elder Sylvester Bailey; her parents, Bessie Octavia Culpepper Cooper and Leonard Lamar Cooper; and her brother Houston L. Cooper. She is survived by: her children, Dondi Bailey, Kimberly Floyd (Patrick Floyd) and Dencil Bailey (Sharon Bailey); her grandchildren, Ryan Whitaker (Britney), Yancy Whitaker (Heather), Jakeb Bailey (Randa), Densiley Collins, Noah Bailey (Bryn), Brooklynn Morris (Joe), Cody Boyette (Brittany), Tristin Fulgham (Erin), Lane Bailey, Landon Bailey and Kyria Brantley (Tylon); and her great grandchildren, Braxton, Briley, Brinley, Barham Caroline Whitaker, Covey Whitaker, Rivi, Rynlee Bailey, Bryar, Posey Collins, Hoss, Brooks, Banks Bailey, Axel, Israel, Diesel Morris, Lana Boatner, Rhett, Saylor Boswell, Riggs, Rowan, Tate Fulgham, Mayzie and Baby Boy Brantley. She is also survived by her husband and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the First Baptist Church of Quitman (411 E Franklin St, Quitman, MS 39355). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
