He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Malcolm Massengill and Bonnie Jewel Taylor Massengill; and his mother-in-law Carneil Akin Meisel. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Alberson Massengill; his daughter Sallie Massengill Blair-Messer (Matthew); his grandsons, Ethan Blair and Eli Blair; and his siblings, Mark Massengill (Donna), Michael Massengill (Lisa) and Molly Massengill Palmer (Josh). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
