He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Edrie Boyd and Marshalene Boyd; his brother Jerrell Boyd; and his brothers-in-law, Kent Cochran and Paul Sones.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie; his daughters, Marsha Smith (Joey) and Stacie Willie (Timmy); his grandchildren, Kaleb Smith (Olivia), Kody Smith (Makenzie), Kayne Willie (Morgan) and Kannon Willie; his great grandchildren, Gentry Smith and Kennedy Guy; his sisters, Kaye Beard (Garry), Rose Sones, Millie Cochran and Alice Sandifer (Sandy); and his cousin Tommy Craft of Yazoo City.
