She was predeceased by: her parents, W. H. "Dub" Womack and Mary Katherine Alexander Womack; and her husband Melvin Jerry Rutland. She is survived by: her sons, Rev. Elliot J. Rutland (Jocelyn) and Allen J. Rutland; her granddaughters, Caroline Rutland, Claire Rutland, Addison Rutland and Avery Rutland; her close friends, L. Lambert and Bonnie Brister; and her daughter Stormiee.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Powells Grove United Pentecostal Church (454 Powell Grove Rd, Jayess, MS 39641). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of pot plants, donations may be made in her honor to Calvary United Pentecostal Building Fund.
