He is survived by: his son Samuel Lee Cothern; his daughter-in-law Lesa Turner Cothern; his siblings, Tommy Cothern (Ann), Zack Cothern (Sue), Joel Cothern (Patsy), Richard Cothern (Darlene), Jerry Cothern (Abby) and Patricia Greenlee; his grandsons, Caleb Rutland (Karli) and Dalton Cothern; and his great grandchild Easton Rutland.
