He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis John and Elizabeth Shaw; his former wives, Joy Gleason Shaw and Janice Schwandt Shaw; his son Colin Shaw; and his siblings, Louis Shaw, Lorraine McKitta, Myrle Vogel, Evelyn Vadell, Janet Mattei and Joyce Planas.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Shaw of Kiln; his sons, Brian D. Shaw, Sr. of Kiln, Keith Shaw (Ruth) of Mansura, LA and Daron Shaw of Kiln; his grandchildren, Brian D. Shaw, Jr., Stacy Michelle Shaw, Bandon Kyle Shaw and Timothy Shaw; his great grandchildren, Caleb Shaw, Tyler Shaw (Amy), Taylor Shaw, Joel and Noah Riks; his great great grandchild Dakota Shaw; and his stepgranddaughter Maria Arce. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
