With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winnie Jewel Davis of Kiln, Mississippi, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas Davis; and her parents, John B. May and Bernice May. She is survived by : her children, Rose Draime (Jesse), Sharon Fleming and Charles Davis; her sisters, Hazel Johnson and Shirley McNease; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Candice (Jeffrey), Alissa, Glen, Jason, Trevin (Dana), Talina (Willie), Rachel (Omar), Patricia, Alex and Zachary. She is also survived by eighteen Great-Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hathorn Funeral Home (167 Hwy 198, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Crossroads Church Cemetery.
