She was predeceased by : her husband Winston Brumfield; the father of her children James Stogner; her son James Michael Stogner; her parents, James "Jim" Alexander Erwin and Ethel Hobgood Erwin; her siblings, Linsey Erwin, Scott Erwin, Maude Lang and Myrtle Evans; her granddaughter Angela Slocum; and her great grandchild Tinsley Pigott.

She is survived by : her children, Scotty Stogner (Barbara), Sandy Rowley and Brenda Magee; her grandchildren, Kyle Magee (Tonya), Matthew Stogner (Holly), Trey Pigott (Sheridan), Kellie Desoto (Titus), Candace Bond (Jeff), Lacey Stogner, Bridgette Ard (Shane), Brooke Breedlove, Lisa Broussard and Brandi McFadden; and her close friend Rosemary Kennedy (Christine Dillon). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hartman Hughes Funeral Home (412 Beulah Ave, Tylertown, MS 39667). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at the Pearl River Baptist Church Cemetery (1113 Hwy 35 S, Sandy Hook, MS 39478).
