She is survived by: her husband David Casteel of Kosciusko, MS; her parents, Bill Mitchell and Carolyn Mitchell of Kosciusko; her son Russell Casteel (Callie) of Murfreesboro, TN; her sister Carol Anne Thompson (David) of Louisville, MS; her father-in-law Tommy Casteel of Columbus, MS; her niece Kaci McDill (Kyle) of Starkville, MS; her nephews, Justin Thompson (Hailey) of Starkville, MS and Rhyne Thompson (Jessi) of Ethel, MS; and her grandchildren, Brown and Flora Casteel of Murfreesboro, TN..

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jordan Funeral Home (855 MS-12, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Parkway Cemetery (904 S Huntington St, Kosciusko, MS 39090).
