He is survived by: his wife Janice Atwood; his children, Will Atwood (Angie) and Kerri Atwood-Wyatt (Kyle); and his siblings, Billy Atwood (Rosemary), Mark Atwood (Debra), Jimmy Atwood (Grace) and Melinda McCool. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Culpepper Funeral Home (11748 MS-35, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center in West Monroe, Louisiana (501 Mane St, West Monroe, LA 71292).
