With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Young of Kosciusko, Mississippi, who passed away on April 17, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Young to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Fountain Harkins and Gussie McMillan Harkins (Roy Bain Young); and her son Ronnie Young. She is survived by : her daughter Gail Montgomery (Jeff) of Vicksburg, Mississippi; her daughter-in-law Linda Young; her grandchildren, Molly Luke, Aubrey Luke, Jeffrey Gough (Maggie) and Trevor Young; her great grandchildren, Kensley Griffin, Bain Gough and Carver Gough; and her sister Zebbie Myrick of Georgia.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Jordan Funeral Home (855 MS-12, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the Thomastown Baptist Cemetery.
