He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Wilks and Bean Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Andre Altman, Darnell Wilks, Renee Wilks-Peoples, Michael Wilks, Marcu McGraw, Shatarus Wilks, Victoria Wilks, Florence Wilks and Emanuel Wilks. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and dear friends.
