He is survived by: his children, Gina Melton (Steve), Devon Vowell (Stephanie) and John Vowell (Jennifer); his brother Steve Pinney; and his grandchildren, Heather Melton, Blake Melton (Kim), Hannah Reed Melton (Jonathan Schultz), Jacob Townsend, Autumn Fulton (Davis), John Zachary Vowell (April) and Jack Readen Vowell (Kenna). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
