He was predeceased by: his parents, Osborn Pinney and Emma Lang Pinney (Beverly Edwards Pinney). He is survived by: his children, Gina Melton (Steve), Devon Vowell (Stephanie) and John Vowell (Jennifer); his brother Steve Pinney; and his grandchildren, Heather Melton, Blake Melton (Kim), Hannah Reed Melton (Jonathan Schultz), Jacob Townsend, Autumn Fulton (Davis), John Zachary Vowell (April) and Jack Readen Vowell (Kenna). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Culpepper Funeral Home (11748 MS-35, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
