He is survived by : his wife Sandra Dickerson Hicks; his children, James Hicks (Valerie) and Machell Parkerson; his siblings, Brenda Gilbert (Freddie) and Robert Hicks (Jimmie); and his grandchildren, Kristin, Ethan and Brooke Hicks.
