He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ables and Estelle Cain Ables; and his sisters-in-law, Fay Ables, Shirley Ables and Peggy Ables.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Reynolds Ables; and his brothers, Jerry, Jack, Larry and Paul Ables (Faye). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
